I finally put up some photos up on Picasa. I just couldn't do Carnaval justice describing it. There are just a few favorites because my dial-up is super slow. Again, after all, this is Bolivia.

Out and About in the Big Wide World
An Explaination
For your armchair adventuring pleasure, I´m blogging about my winter 2008 in Bolivia (and before that summer 2007 in Guatemala). I endeavor to provide a mix of my everyday experiences, current and historical happenings, and the sociocultural and political context in which they exist.
Since I want you to live vicariously though my experience, smelling the salteñas, stuffed into microbuses and sensing the political tension, this blog is meant to mirror my beloved moleskine journal.
I journal in real time, and then transcribe the entries, add pictures and context, and upload them when I have time and internet access, which are rapidly becoming more scarce. As such, please excuse the disorder as I add back-dated entries and finish my half-complete thoughts.
